The Pig

As the midday sun rose high over the farm, Mikyra the pig, settled into her eleventh mud-wallow. Life was good for Mikyra. The next day Mikyra woke up upon an unusual place that she had never been before. Mikyra found herself at someone’s house. She was not at the farm anymore, she had been taken. Mikyra didn’t know that she had got taken, but she actually liked the house that she was at. Mikyra had a rosy pink snout, that twitched when she sniffs. The person that took her took Mikyra out for a walk. She got off the leash and she ran and ran until she got too tired, then she lay down on the ground and had a rest. When she lay down you would be able to see Mikyra’s patches of coarse hair, sticking out from her face in tufts. She then found a farm with a lot of animals. Furthermore, she went in the gate and the farmer came. The farmer saw that Mikyra was dirty. After that Farmer Greg washed off her body and she was then squeaky clean. Her small eyes were sharp and inquisitive when she was looking at me. Mikyra was also nosy by nature, always wanting to know what was going on around her.

The farm was down a long, muddy track, far away from the main highway.
As Mikyra went for a roll in the mud, she saw the three water tanks standing in a line like rotund guards. Mikyra’s farmer Will Smith, cleant up Mikyra and then Will packed, tidy, bales of hay which rested in a neat array. When she was tidy, Will took Mikyra up to the large green hill at the back of the barn. Moreover, Mikyra fell down and rolled all the way down to the rocky bottom of the hill and hurt herself. After that Will went down to where Mikyra was and patched up her cuts and sores. Rolling hills were also caught in the long shadows of the late afternoon sun. Then finally the old barn was home - comforting, cosy and always busy with it’s inhabitants. It was not often that the farm was quiet.

Mikyra the pig rested on the beach aside the large red barn, determine to get in the cold water. Mikyra jumped right into the freezing cold water. She went a bit too deep and then she almost drowned. Her hooves tried to tread the water, but she could hardly stay afloat. Mikyra tried to paddle to shore, but her hooves were too small. The turquoise water lapped at her snout.  She finally got to shore. It took about 30 mins for her to get their because of her little hooves. Panic was setting as she appeared unable close the gap to lap.
