I have 5/16 of a cake at a birthday party. I keep going back for more
and eat another  6/16 of a cake. What fraction of a cake have I eaten
altogether?

11/16

I have 10/21 of a cake left over from the party. Then I give 6/21 of a
cake to my sisters. What fraction of a cake do I have left over?

4/21

⅓ + ⅔ = 1

¾ + ¾ = 1 2/4

⅕ + ⅗ = 4/5

⅘ - ⅗ = 1/5

5/10 - 1/10 = 4/10

55/60 - 40/60 = 15/60

12/20 + 17/20 = 5/20

Maselino has 50 chocolates. He would like to share them between 5 friends.
How many chocolates will they get each?

1. 50 / 5 = 10

36 cookies are shared between 6 friends. How many cookies do they get each?

1. 36 / 6 = 6

Justus has 70 chocolates. He would like to share them between 5 friends.
How many chocolates will they get each?

1. 70 / 5 = 14

Cooking club have made 48 cookies that will be shared between 6 students.
How many cookies will each student receive?

1. 48 / 6 = 8

Naomi has 80 lollies. She would like to make 20 lolly leis.
How many lollies can you use to make each lei?

1. 80 / 20 = 4

Sheales has made 72 mini pineapple pies. She is sharing them between 12 friends.
How many pies will each friend receive?

1. 72 / 12 = 6

Tamati has 48 fidget spinners to share between 12 friends.
